This Privacy Policy explains how FlowBelk may collect, use, and protect information when you use the FlowBelk personal finance tracking app and related services.

Information We May Collect

FlowBelk may collect information you provide or create while using the app, including:

  • Account information, such as your name, email address, profile details, and support communications.
  • Transaction data entered by the user, such as income, expenses, categories, notes, budgets, and savings goals.
  • Device and app usage data, such as app version, device type, crash reports, diagnostics, feature usage, and general performance data.
  • Authentication data, such as login identifiers, authentication tokens, and security-related events used to protect your account.

AI-Powered Features

FlowBelk includes an AI financial assistant called FlowBelk Coach that helps explain your spending, forecast cash flow, and answer questions about your finances. To provide this feature, relevant account and transaction data you have entered may be sent to OpenAI for processing. This data is used only to generate responses within the app and is not used by FlowBelk or OpenAI to train publicly available AI models. AI-generated insights are informational only and are not professional financial advice.

How We Use Information

FlowBelk uses collected information to provide app features, improve the app, secure accounts, and support users. This includes helping you understand money activity, manage spending, work toward savings goals, troubleshoot issues, communicate with support, and maintain reliable account access.

How We Protect Information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No digital service can guarantee absolute security, but FlowBelk is designed to treat personal finance information with care.

Service Providers

FlowBelk uses third-party infrastructure providers to operate the app, including Supabase for authentication and data storage, and OpenAI for the FlowBelk Coach feature. These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually limited to using it only to provide their services to FlowBelk.

Sharing Information

FlowBelk does not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help operate, secure, analyze, or support the app, when required by law, or when necessary to protect FlowBelk, users, or the public.

Data Retention

We retain your account and transaction data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is removed or de-identified within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain records by law.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to certain processing. California residents have rights under the CCPA, and EU/UK residents have rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR. Your Choices

You may contact us to ask questions about your account information, request support, or ask about privacy-related choices. Some app features may require certain information to work properly.

Children's Privacy

FlowBelk is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date and post the revised policy.
